Our story

Servis Software is a business division of Retriever Communications Pty Ltd (‘Retriever’). Retriever started business way back in 1996 with the sole mission of designing, building & providing field service management software that was efficient, reliable, scalable & highly customised to each customer’s specific needs. The target market was, and still is today, large enterprise organisations with large teams in the field.

Today, Retriever’s Field Service product has an uptime of 99.9% and is used by field workers all over the world. Retriever processes over 800,000 forms per year & supports mission critical business processes for its portfolio of enterprise customers.
In 2021, due to a continual increase in enquiries from small to medium sized organisations, a decision was taken to address this market with a brand-new field service management application (‘app’) that would be designed by our highly experienced solutions architects & then built by our brilliant team of software engineers here in Sydney.

To ensure laser focus, a new business division was set up. Its sole mission is to provide small to medium sized organisation with an easy-to-use field service management app. The division was called ‘Servis Software’ and its field service management product was called Servis as that’s what our customers do.

We are proudly 100% Australian owned. Located at Chatswood, in Sydney’s north. Our employees are mostly in Australia, although, thanks to the new world of ‘work from home’ we do have a few employees in the USA & New Zealand. Most of our employees are highly skilled & experienced software engineers. We also employ a Sydney based customer support team, solutions architects & project managers…all based in Australia, which ensures effective & timely communications with all our customers (we don’t do offshore outsourcing).

Our team of software engineers & solutions architects have been designing and building field service management solutions since 1996. They have evolved our products with the ever-changing world of technology in both hardware & software. We have always worked closely with our customers to ensure we understand their business and that our products & features meet, or preferably exceed their requirements.

Our customers stay with us for a very long time, that’s a fact, and we have been around for a very long time (since 1996). As a result, we have developed a deep understanding & appreciation of our customers businesses, which operate in a variety of industries including HVAC, utilities, facilities management, transport& logistics, etc.. so we know our stuff when it comes to field service management!!
